Marsh Hollow welcomes pets, with the exception of puppies, cats & kittens. So we are probably more "dog friendly" than totally pet friendly. Most dogs leave Marsh Hollow happy and exhausted. There is plenty of space to run and play. The deck is surrounded by a railing with 2 gates. It does a good job of confining dogs, but is not escape proof, especially for small dogs. Our pet fee is $25 per visit (not per day) for one dog. $5 for each additional dog. Maximum number of dogs: 3. During your visit, just keep these etiquette guidelines in mind:
If you have any questions about bringing a pet, please contact us at marshhollow@hughes.net or at 740-332-9202. If you are not staying at Marsh Hollow and can't find a pet friendly cabin in the Hocking Hills, we recommend boarding your dog at There's No Place Like Home kennel and day care. Their facility is located about 20 minutes from Marsh Hollow. Visit their web site at www.tnplh.org for more information. We've boarded our dogs there and they came home happy and relaxed, even after 2 weeks! Mia & Maggie, at www.miaandmaggie.com, is a great place to shop for your favorite canine. Check out their Mud Magnet paw cleaner and many other great travel items. This site donates 2% of every purchase to your favorite non-profit dog organization. |
Note: Yes, there are a couple of kittens in our slideshow. They are pictured with Riley the dog. Riley's kind humans found these stray kittens during a hike in the Hocking Hills and generously have provided a new home for them in the Cleveland area. |
