Marsh Hollow is located on Wagner Road, approximately 7 miles southeast of Laurelville, Ohio, in the spectacular Hocking Hills region, including the Hocking Hills State Park, Conkles Hollow State Nature Preserve and the Hocking State Forest.  Tar Hollow State Park and Forest are within easy driving distance.

After you have made a reservation, we will discuss the best way to drive to Marsh Hollow. See below for basic directions from Logan and Laurelville.

Special note:  Do not depend on Internet mapping services such as MapQuest to plan your route to Marsh Hollow.  Internet map services do not always provide the BEST route and often include references to township roads that are no longer drivable. For example, Bogg Road on the map above does NOT connect to Wagner Road!

From Laurelville:

  1. Follow 56 East to and through Laurelville.
  2. About 4 miles outside of Laurelville, just past the sign for Haynes, turn left on Big Pine Road (County Hwy 11).
  3. Stay on Big Pine for about 1 1/2 miles, then turn left on to Wagner Road.  There's a red barn and corn crib at the corner.
  4. Stay on Wagner for about 1 1/3 miles, keeping left at the fork, then turn left into Marsh Hollow office at 19369 Wagner Road.

From Logan:

  1. At Logan, take the 664 South exit (toward the Hocking Hills Tourism Association Welcome Center).
  2. Stay on 664 South to Big Pine Road.  Hocking House will be on the right.
  3. Turn right onto Big Pine Road.
  4. Big Pine crosses St. Rt. 374 near Conkles Hollow.  Continue past intersection for about 4.5 miles to Wagner Road.
  5. Turn right on to Wagner Road.  There's a red barn and corn crib at the corner.
  6. Stay on Wagner for about 1 1/3 miles, keeping left at the fork, then turn left into the Marsh Hollow office at 19369 Wagner Road.

Alternative directions from Cincinnati using the Appalachian Highway::

  1. Take 32 East (the Appalachian Highway) from Cincinnati.
  2. Near Piketon, take 23 North to Chillicothe.
  3. At Chillicothe, stay on 23 North until it intersects with 159 (Bridge Street).  Do not follow signs for 35 and Bridge Street.  Follow signs for the hospital, which is on 159.
  4. Follow 159 to 180 at Kinnikinnick.  Turn right on 180.
  5. Follow 180 to Laurelville.
